Abstract

This master thesis evaluates different approaches to code generation and software modeling in software development of embedded systems. A research overview is conducted to highligt themes and subjects regarding modeling, code generation and software development. Interviews are held at two different units within Saab Surveillance where different software development approaches are used. Advantages and difficulties with different approaches are investigated to discuss how a successfully tailored approach can affect the result of different development projects.
